Indications
Acyclovir cream is indicated for:

How to Use
- Application: Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area and gently rub it in. This should be done five times a day at approximately 4-hour intervals, omitting nighttime applications.
- Timing: It is most effective when applied at the first sign of a cold sore (tingling or itching). Treatment should continue for at least 4 days, but may be extended up to 10 days if healing has not occurred.
- Hygiene: Wash hands before and after application to prevent spreading the virus. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.
