Indications
Barole 20 mg is indicated for:

- Erosive Esophagitis: Caused by acid reflux.
- Peptic Ulcer Disease: To treat active ulcers in the stomach and duodenum.
- Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: A condition where the stomach produces excessive acid.

Dosage
- Adults: The typical dosage is 20 mg once daily, usually taken after a meal. For specific conditions like duodenal ulcers, it may be prescribed for up to 4 weeks.
- Children: The safety and efficacy of rabeprazole in children under 12 years have not been established.

Administration
- How to Use: Barole capsules should be swallowed whole, preferably after meals to enhance absorption and minimize gastrointestinal side effects.
- Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible. If it's near the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double up on doses.
